Grady Joe Smith, 60, of Patmos, died at his home Sunday, March 24, 2013.
Mr. Smith was born November 7, 1952, in Rayville, Louisiana, to Grady Chester Smith and Noma Jean Curtis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Steve Chester Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debra Ann Wheelington-Smith, of Patmos; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lijiah Smith, of Bodcaw, and Joshua and A.J. Smith, of Fulton; one brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jackie Smith, of Texarkana; one half-brother, Wendell Cox, of Hope; one step-granddaughter, Darcy Cox, of Fulton; one step-grandson, Blain Cox, of Fulton; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 26, from 6-8 p.m. in the Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 27, at 2 p.m. at Providence Cemetery, with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating, with interment to follow under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home in Hope.
