John L. Wagley, 68, of Hope, died Friday, February 22, 2013, in Texarkana, Texas.
Mr. Wagley was born December 17, 1944, in McGhee. He was a retired employee of AT& T and is preceded in death by his mother, Effie Whitley Wagley; two brothers, Lonnie and Charles Wagley; and his father-in-law and best friend, Richard Murphy.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Gay Wagley, of Hope; two sons, Lance Ripley and wife, Jennifer, of Hope, and Alan Wagley, of Little Elm, Texas; daughter, Briana Wagley Odom and husband, Riley, of Tomball, Texas; brother, Tommy Bawcom and wife, Candy, of Berryville; grandchildren, Ryan Routsong, of Seattle, Wash., Katlin Niemeyer and husband, Zach, of Texarkana, Dylan Ripley, of Hope, Jocelyn Wagley, of Watauga, Texas, Jace Wagley, of Little Elm, Texas, and Aidan Wagley, of Little Elm, Texas; and special little companions, Daisy and Pearl Wagley.
Visitation was held from 3 – 5 p.m. Sunday, February 24, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, February 25, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.
Burial will follow in Evening Shade Cemetery at Spring Hill. Bro. Mark Faulkner will officiate. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope.
