The 65th annual Spaghetti Supper at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at lunch and at supper time. Serving will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and from 4:30-7 p.m. Tickets are for dine-in or carry-out and dinners include spaghetti, salad, bread, and dessert. According to Coordinator Sharon Wilson, “This is the 65th year of this event. It is a fundraiser for the church and is celebrated in the Mardi-Gras theme.” Mary Massanelli began the fundraiser and her spaghetti sauce recipe is still used to this day. She was crowned “Miss Pasta” several years ago, to honor her longtime commitment to the event. Sandra Massanelli and Diane Stone have decorated the Parish Hall with new decorations this year, and volunteers included Joe Micco, Bill Thaxton, and Thana Schoen, among other members of the church. “We would love for everyone to come out and enjoy the meal,” Wilson said. “It is for a good cause and it's set in a great atmosphere, too.”
