Elsie J. Williams, 98, of Hope, died Sunday, February 10, 2013, in Hope.
Mrs. Williams was born July 10, 1914, in Rosston, to Grover Cleveland and Margaret Ella (Maggie) O'Keefe Jarvis.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Rosston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Williams; two sons, Richard and Bob; and her parents.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Sue (Hart) Rowe and husband, James Richard (Doc); her brother, Fred Jarvis and wife, Nell, of Camden; her sister, Mary Lou Smith and husband, Horace, of Camden; 10 grandchildren, Judith Hammock and Gerald, Ricky Hart and Judy, Sonya Odom and Randy, Angie Williams, Micki O'Neal and Butch, Virginia Coleman and Jim, Marie Brian and Glenn, Tim Wright, Renee Irby and Michelle Efird and Tim; nine great-grandchildren; and special care giver, her great-grand-daughter, Shannon Odom Rowe.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 11, at Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home in Hope.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, at the First Baptist Church in Rosston. Bro. Mark Faulkner and Bro. Bubba Wells will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosston Cemetery. Arrangements by Brazzel/Oakcrest The Funeral Home of Hope, Eddie Brazzel, Director.
