Jacob S. Williams, 74, of Hope, died at a Little Rock hospital.
Jacob S. Williams, 74, of Hope, died at a Little Rock hospital. Mr. Williams was born October 4, 1939, in Arkadelphia, and was a veteran of the U. S. Army, retiring from service in the Pentagon after 30 years. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Williams-Bell. Survivors include three sons, Minister Demarco (Cynthia) Williams, of Lawton, Okla., John (Tracy) Williams, of Modesto, Calif., and Arthur Williams, of Oakland, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Family hour will be conducted from 6-7 p.m. Friday, February 1, at Hicks Funeral Home in Hope. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at Lonoke Missionary Baptist Church, 702 S. Hazel St., in Hope. Arrangements are entrusted to Hicks Funeral Home, Inc., in Hope.
